Baseball has been a prominent part of my life since I was little. I started playing baseball at 7 years old and that was also the first year that I played travel ball. The team did not do very well as we were all very young for a travel program but it did not matter to me as I loved being able to play as often as I could. That was when my love of the game really started and I cannot imagine my life without playing baseball. I am very excited for the next season to begin. Having this past high school season cancelled was very difficult for me. I worked extra hard in the off season before my sophomore year and felt very strong for tryouts. I was so excited to make the varsity team and was crushed that I was unable to play due to the season ending Covid restrictions.
I pride myself on being a good teammate, working as hard as I can to help the team and to support my teammates. My goal is to continue to play baseball in college along with obtaining a strong academic foundation. To help make that happen I work hard in the weight room, training and on the field as well as in the classroom. I am taking college prep classes and this year even took a cooking class. I look forward to the start of the high school season this year getting back on the field with my teammates.
