Samuel Angelo '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coach, I'm Samuel Angelo,  17 years old now,  and I've been playing baseball since I was 5. I hit, pitch, and field LH. Since I am lefty, I have always worked at 1B, LHP, and Corner OF. My goal for college is to get the right education and play college baseball too. I am hardworking, and driven. I was the only 6th grade student to make my Intermediate School team,  I played 3 years Intermediate school, and was awarded the School Sportsmanship award for leadership when I graduated 8th grade.   As a Freshman,  I played mostly 1B.  I pitched and played OF corners when Coach needed me too.  I was awarded 1 of 3 Toms River North Mariner Man Awards for my achievements as Freshman for Leadership, Hitting, Pitching, and Fielding. My Sophomore year I played mostly JV and some Varsity;  same positions but mostly 1B. I was recognized by my Varsity Coach for my achievements and leadership on JV and will played Varsity my Junior year, earning the Most Improved Player Award.  I play the same positions on my .9ers Baseball Club Summer and Fall teams.  I am most often batting 3-6 in the order.  I just love the game of baseball. I'm a core player and won't disappoint.  I'm and honor roll student,  I work Summers, and do community service activities and events.
