My long term aspiration is to explore a business degree while playing baseball at the College level. Baseball is my passion; however, I would love to be in a position to help others. I have a desire to learn the world of business. Particularly accounting and finance. I also hope to have a stable career after baseball.
I am interested in a school that challenges me mentally and intrigues my interests socially. I am also interested in attending a school with a very competitive athletic program. I have a passion for the competitive environment. I am currently on a club team and performing exceptionally. Baseball is a sport I have a love for and I hope to one day have an opportunity to compete at a professional level.
What makes you a good candidate for their team?--
I am a leader amongst my peers; I am dynamic and versatile, able to play multiple positions as well. I consistently put in more time with workouts, nutrition and training outside of practice. I currently play first, third, right field and I am a pitcher. I have close friends and family with special needs. Along with my mom being a special education teacher; my family is involved with the Special Olympics. I think the opportunity to interact with the special needs community gives me an advantage of having perspective and patience that few others my age experience.
What makes you different from other recruits in character, athletics and academics?--
I'm very selfless and put my team before myself so that my team as a whole is successful. I pride myself on succeeding in spots throughout the game that can be extremely stressful . When the pressure is high it is then that I feel the most compassion for the game. When I have had an unproductive at bat before I critique myself I enjoy sharing the information I learned about the pitcher with my teammates.
