My name is Frederique Daneault, and I am currently an 8th grader at Roosevelt Intermediate School with straight A’s. I balance my academics and competing in high-level sports very well. Baseball has been one of my passions for as long as I can remember. Despite the challenges that are put my way with being a female in a male-dominated sport, I never let that stop me from defining my limits. I take inspiration from many women, such as Olivia Pichardo, who have proven that talent, hard work, and determination can break many barriers. Competing at a high level, I have developed skills, a high baseball IQ, and the toughness to perform under pressure. Whether at the plate, on the mound, or in the field, I try to be a player that my teammates can rely on. In addition to baseball, I play high-level hockey, where I have developed speed, agility, and the ability to read the game. These skills translate directly to my success on the baseball field. I also play the bass in my school’s orchestra, which has taught me teamwork and discipline in a different way. I am looking for a college program that values dedication, skill, and determination. I am ready to work, compete, and contribute to a team that values the game of baseball as much as I do. I believe baseball is for those willing to put in an effort, and I am ready to prove that I belong at the next level.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
