- Tournament Champions, All Tournament Pitcher Award https://www.perfectgame.org/events/tournaments/alltournamentteam.aspx?event=20830 Matthew Delaney (2025, Albuquerque, N.M.) delivered three solid innings in what would finish as a combined no-hitter in a 14-0 rout for the Gulf Coast Monarchs 14u squad. He worked up to 80 mph with his fastball that showed good life. He commanded well throughout the outing, mixing in a breaking ball that induced plenty of swings and misses. Delaney’s breaking ball was big and heavy. It is a 12-6 breaker that could very well profile out as a hammer curveball as he grows and develops. His fantastic two-pitch mix helped him collect four punchouts while being incredibly efficient with only 29 pitches thrown.
