Jacob Jones 2021 ...Ever since I started playing baseball as a kid, it has been my favorite sport. I knew I wanted to do big things with it as time went on and I kept setting temporary goals for myself to reach. Whether it was making a travel team or the school team I did whatever I could to achieve those goals. Now my goal is to play in college and eventually the big leagues. Once I make it to college ball I can guarantee that I will work as hard as anybody else.
In my sophomore year of high school, my grades started to drop and I was barely passing a couple of my classes. Later in the year, I brought my mentality of baseball to school and was able to pick up my grades by an extreme amount. I plan on keeping that mentality for baseball and school as my life goes on.
On the field I always give it 100%. My biggest attribute is my baseball IQ which helps me to be very versatile and always know what the right play is. When my speed develops more I know I can become a good outfielder as well as an infielder. This versatility makes me a great asset to have on teams.
One of my biggest life goals is just to set good examples to youth, my peers, and everyone around me.
