Asher Mitchell '17 Recruiting Profile

I am hoping to find a college or university where I can challenge myself academically and athletically during my college years. I want to play baseball at the highest level I can while earning an undergraduate degree that will allow me to pursue a career in the sciences. I have been a good baseball player for most of my life, but have constantly worked to improve. I have worked with individual coaches, practices and worked out on own and read and watched videos to make myself a better pitcher and hitter. In college I will continue to work to get better in order to help the team.

In addition, I will take my academic classes very seriously so that they do not impede on my baseball time. I have a passion for baseball and for science, and want to be able to follow each road as long as I can. I know that it is very hard to do both and to put one hundred percent into each, but I am willing and able to rise to the challenge and work harder than I ever have before. It is my hope that I can find a school that will allow me to do this.
