Baseball is the sport that has been my way of life since childhood. It is always something I am interested in learning about and improving on. This can be seen throughout my high school career, especially in my junior season where I brought my batting average up from .198, to a team-leading .400. I have learned a lot about baseball and myself as I've played and developed my love for the game. I am looking forward to continuing learning in the classroom and on the field. As a catcher and first baseman, I have the responsibility to be a leader in the dugout and on the field. My goal is to play at my highest potential and go to a school that will encourage me to push myself to my limits and have my potential grow every day. This is why I'd make a great addition to a college baseball program.
