My name is Javen Pena

 I am a Senior at Freeport  High School.

I envision my college years to be a personal growth period. My goal is to explore a science major that will position me well for medical school. On the field, I plan to be a dynamic player and positive influence on the team. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college baseball career, I will strive to be an asset to the pitching rotation, outfield  and batting lineup. Most importantly, My Parents raised me well and taught me to  conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school I attend.

I am a Primary Outfielder and Secondary pitcher and am very interested in your program  because it is  a mid-sized D2 school and has the major I am looking for.  I have worked hard to maintain my gpa 3.3  and maintain my honor roll status throughout my High School Career while playing Varsity Ball since my sophomore year  and strive to always succeed.
