Michael Bowler '21 Recruiting Profile

Entering my Junior season and third year on varsity I expect to take my game to the next level, not only on the field but off the field too. Last year we scraped the tip of the iceberg with our teams potential. Going to the sectional championship for the first time since 1994 and losing to a team of 12 seniors. We believe we had a sub-par season compared to what we expected in the pre-season. This year we are holding ourselves to a much higher standard, where we want to win leagues, then sectionals, and finally states. In college I want to study biology. On weekends I volunteer at my local animal shelter, and during the week I work at the little league park umpiring and cleaning. I am a really coachable kid who takes criticism well, and I am always looking to better my game, so any helpful tips are always welcomed. I can be a vocal leader if needed, but mostly I lead by example. I've always wanted to make my parents and family proud, by the way I represent myself, my family, and my team.
