From a young age, my love for baseball has been continuously shaping me into the person I am today. I have learned many lessons from the persistent grind and lifestyle that is brought forth to any baseball player who aspires to be successful and play at the next level.
Whether I am at practice, in the gym, or at school, my goal is simply to prove that I am the hardest worker there. I always hold myself to the highest standards, and do the same for my teammates. My hard working attitude and leadership skills have earned me the privilege to be named the captain of my club baseball team. I use this as an opportunity to better myself and my teammates by being a positive role model on and off the field.
I am a very versatile player on the baseball field, originally playing corner infield, but within the past year adapting to a new position for me, center field, which was made easy by my agility, and being open to be taught new mechanics, which were reinforced by many reps over lots of time spent practicing. I have made a name for myself in the outfield, becoming my team's starting center fielder. Over the next few years I plan to work hard to further develop my skills, and I hope to find a college that meets both my athletic and academic goals.
