Personal Statement
Growing up playing baseball has been a blessing to me. The feeling of stepping out on the baseball field is something unexplainable. I started playing when I was 5 years old and ever since then I had fallen in love with the sport and it has been my passion for the last 11 years. To me, baseball is very important, but in order to succeed in baseball, I have to succeed in the classroom. I have always been really passionate about completing my school work on time and efficiently, and if I do not follow through it means no baseball and that is the drive that keeps me caught up.
I have always had a competitive drive that I believe makes me the athlete and the person I am today. It didn't matter what the situation was, if it was the weather, or even if I had a bad day, I was not going to let that stop me. I believe that this will help me reach my goal of play baseball at a Division I college in the South. My career choices when I attend college are Physical Education, Atheltic Trainer, or Exercise Science.
