I work hard at every aspect of my life…especially baseball. If you were to ask my coaches I am confident they’d say the same.
My JV team had 24 qualified Freshmen and Sophomore players, and I started every game as a 9th grader. Coach McAlary knew when he put me on the field or in the lineup, I would not let him down.
During my 14U season on the Long Island Jr. Ducks travel team, Coach Schnupp also of the 15U team knew he could count on me, and often asked me to play up on his team during regular season competitive games and tournaments. You would find me pitching, catching, playing 2nd or left field.
My trainer at Infiniti Sports Performance also knows my work ethic, as I manage a challenging academic work load, a rigorous baseball schedule and am still able to squeeze in two specialized workouts per week. I also catch for Infiniti’s pitching lessons. The focused training has helped me to grow and develop my speed, strength and agility. I am proud to say Infiniti just recognized me as Athlete of the Month for August.
Coach Skala recognized my leadership qualities and recommended that I run for student council, where I served as Treasurer of the 9th grade class. He knew I’d be as dedicated off the field as I am on the field.
But I’m most proud of the work I’ve done as a junior executive board member of the newly founded TeamUp sports organization, which pairs accomplished student athlete volunteers with children with special needs during baseball games and family fun events.
I would love the opportunity to show you how I can be a valuable addition to your team.
