My name is Harrison Stein and I am currently a junior student at Patchogue -Medford High School in Long Island NY. A little bit about me that seems to surprise many people is that I was born at 29 weeks weighing just 2pounds, a micro preemie. I was born a fighter and believe it is in my nature to always work hard to achieve my goals, since that has always been what I have needed to do in order to persevere through. However sports has always come naturally to me and when I am playing sports I am at my happiest. I can remember when I was in my grandpas backyard and hitting Tee balls in his backyard and I remember him asking me to swing lefty and righty and that’s when I knew I was a switch hitter. I was 6 years old when I found out I was a switch hitter and I still am to this day and I’ve loved baseball every since that moment. I take my studies seriously in hopes of one day being a neonatologist and helping other preemies like myself or I would love to become a teacher to teach kids in the future.
