The many times I've won a baseball game have been some of the most fun and best bonding experiances in my whole life; however, they did not make me grow as much as a player as the losses. After losing in the sectional tournament freshman year, I realized that I have to start working harder than ever and become a leader.
Off the field, I want to push myself academically and learn as much as I can. Through my years of playing baseball, I learned that the little things make the big things happen. Sacrafices being made every day in practice and team camaraderie can make all of the difference between a first and second place team. This gives me drive to hold not only myself accountable, but also my teammates. Baseball has always given me a tremendous interest, which makes me believe that my passion for the sport, talent, and team first attitude will allow me to be impactful at the college level.
