Taeghan Dapson '22 Recruiting Profile

I was asked to play in a league the summer before 7th grade for our high school. The moment I picked up a field hockey stick, I knew it was the sport I was meant to play.  Organized sports helped me to develop many useful skills, such as motivation, perseverance and organization, which also helped strengthen my academic abilities. I am a multi-sport student athlete with a 4.0 GPA.  I have been a captain, leading my high school team since 9th grade; playing both forward and midfield.  I strive to be a positive role model for my teammates, by being a coachable athlete, a leader on the field and always putting forth my best effort in practice, games and first and foremost in the classroom.
