Personal Statement
Thank you for taking time out to read this. My name is Jovani Reynoso from Ozone Park, New York and I want to pursue a career in Physical Education or Physical Therapy, so I can eventually pass my baseball knowledge down to another generation. Hopefully the work and grind I put in my whole life can help me pursue my career and reach my future goals. I've been playing baseball since about 5 years old. I always loved the game and only playing 16 games a season in a little league was way too short for me. My father had signed me up in multiple little leagues in the area at a young age and we were always practicing from a young age. The only other sport I played growing up was martial arts (Taekwondo, Judo, Karate) until I was about 12 and decided I only wanted to play baseball. Martial arts had a major role in my life because it taught me discipline, integrity, and respect. Having many coaches growing helped me become an extremely teachable athlete and I will always absorb information anyone gives me. Growing up my father was my greatest role model and always involved with everything I did. He influenced things like my great work ethic and punctuality. Over the years of playing baseball at many levels it showed me that even though I might not be the strongest, biggest, fastest player on the field, if I put in the work I will eventually pass the players who were always a step ahead of me. My work ethic for baseball is the same for academics. In the classroom I am always ready to dominate the next obstacle I come across.
Hopefully I am a good candidate for your school
