May 2019I love the game of baseball and have since I first picked up a glove and a bat. As I have moved through the different levels of baseball my aspirations to play at the collegiate level have increased . I know that playing baseball in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity and that it requires both a commitment to education as well as the game.
On the field I believe that I am very coachable, team oriented and I strive to be one of the hardest working players on my team. I have added strength, core and speed training into my training routine and train with Coach Seay (SUNY New Paltz) to better my hitting and overall game skills. More importantly I am working harder in the classroom and continue to improve on my grades.
Recently I was selected to compete in the 2020 NYS Games and with my Junior year of high school baseball being cancelled I am hopeful for a good showing at the games as well as my summer travel schedule.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all peers and make my parents proud.
