Personal Statement

I love the sport of track. Something about the competitiveness- being part of a team and still being able to excel on your own and succeed in your own way is just awesome. I try to stand out because I am always looking to improve . I want to be faster, stronger, and overall better than I was the last time I ran or competed. 

I play soccer, as well. I believe being part of a team sport helps me in track and field because it allows me to help build a bond in my own team and well as help our team skills, especially in relays.  I cross train at Fitness Fusion of the Hudson Valley  in addition to my school workouts. There are no club track teams near me so I do what I can to improve on my own. I am dedicated to my team and my own improvement. My goal is to run on a  team in college that is perfect for me!

This spring I will travel to the Galapagos Islands for IB Biology.
