Zach Place '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches, thanks for taking a look at my profile. I'm Zach and I am a sophomore at Scotia Glenville, in upstate NY. I carry a 4.0 in accelerated classes, with college classes scheduled from a local jc this fall '21. When I go to college, I'd love to have to opportunity to play baseball, be a part of the team, all while getting a great education.

I am 3rd baseman, play 2nd, and I am the back up catcher on my varsity and showcase team.  I typically hit in the 2/3/4 spot with above average and power, although I led off at the end of the '21 season. I led my team in rbi's, hits, sb and walks last year. This summer I'll be playing for the King monarchs showcase team with @ 40 games around the northeast. I will be attending the pbr nys games in June,  and the showball academic showcase July 13,14 in Boston.  

*2022 update,  varsity season,  playing 2nd, hitting in the 4 spot. @ .400 avg, .500ob, thru 8 games.  We are currently 8-0. 

In the fall I'm a goal keeper for my high school varsity soccer team and play indoor with a travel team, 2020 we were foothills council champions, with 9 shutouts. I cross fit, have a #350 squat and #385 deadlift,  play video games, collect and flip baseball cards when I have some free time.
