Charlie Bammert '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Charlie Bammert, I am currently a senior, attending South Glens Falls High School in South Glens Falls, NY. My primary position is short stop, my secondary positions are second base and centerfield.  I am a ball player, I love the game of baseball.  I began playing at the age of 4, I respect the game and all of the people I have played with over the years.  I have had many great coaches over the years, without them and their time and commitment to my teams, I would not be the ball player I am today. When I am not in school or playing baseball, I enjoy golfing with friends, working out, or watching a game on TV.  

I would love to continue my baseball career into the collegiate level. I am thinking of a career in Physical Education. I am a great leader and can fit into any team culture with ease. My academics are solid, so I would not be a problem in the classroom, on or off the field. I will outwork anyone to improve my game and make myself stand out. I work hard to be a good student, a better ball player and a good person, every day.  On the field I communicate clearly and loudly. I am a coachable athlete, am always open to listening and I take criticism in stride and do what it takes to improve.
