Personal Statement
I’ve been playing baseball since I was three years old. I’ve always seen baseball as something above all other things in my life. I’ve learned that there are other important things, like family and friends, but baseball is still one of the most important parts of my life. It’s taught me how to stay resilient during any situation and it’s taught me the concept of a family.
So far, the best part of my High School baseball career was making our school’s first sectional birth in years and becoming a first team all star in our league because of this. This was my sophomore year and I am going into my Junior year. I think there is a lot of room to grow for me individually. I just want to keep pushing my goals to become successful. But I know that my education is also important and I’d like to get a college degree. Being a student athlete is extremely difficult because of how many things there are to do everyday. But I think that I am very capable of achieving this goal because of how well I manage my time.
