I love baseball. I've had a baseball bat in my hand since I learned to walk according to my parents. I started in Little League when I was four and have been playing ever since. A favorite memory is from my freshman year of high school, when our team made it to the playoffs for our first playoff win in seven years. My sophomore year was challenging, however, as we lost our coach mid-season. Coming through that uncertainty and change made me mentally stronger, and I led the team in RBIs.
I believe my focus, work ethic, and strong academic background will help me succeed in college as it has in high school. My ability to excel in a challenging engineering high school curriculum as well as succeed as a two sport athlete will serve me well in my future baseball and academic endeavors. I will enter your program ready to be a student-athlete, prepared to make an impact on the field and in the classroom.

- Compact athletic build with good present strength, prototypical catcher's build. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with good load onto his back side, stays balanced well, loose swing with bat speed when he gets extended, strong enough to drive the ball when squared up. 7.78 runner, game actions in drills, explodes out of his crouch well with good quickness and low and compact actions, has a quick exchange and release and makes accurate throws, receives the ball cleanly in games. Solid all around catcher with some strength and skills. Good student. Showcase Top Prospect Team

- Bowers has solid juice to the pull side and showed it off in this game, first by hitting a rocket of a ball that hooked foul then following it up with a hard liner down the line that he got a double out of. He's strong and that strength plays in his swing, the ball jumps when he squares it up. He also made an excellent diving stop at third base and showed off legit arm strength on the throw across to nab the runner. Bowers got on the mound in relief was solid, running his fastball up to 81 mph with solid arm side life and throwing a good amount of strikes while missing bats up in the zone. He also continued to play well defensively at third base, consistently making the routine play and showing off his strong arm across the diamond.
