Jr Renwick '18 Recruiting Profile

     Ever since I was a little boy it's been my dream to go to college and play baseball.   I would always sit with dad and watch college games on television and picture me being up there. I want to go to college and play baseball but my first priority is to get my degree. My father inspired me to get a college degree, because he went back to college after retiring from the Marine Corps by taking online courses and earning his Bachelors in Science.  Also, as a military retiree my dad was able to transfer his entire G.I. bill to me to help make sure I have the best shot at a great education  

     I would be a good candidate for any team because I put everything that I have and dedicate as much time I need to in practice, games, school work and everything else I do.  I am a team player and always have been. I like playing shortstop, but I have played all other positions, whatever was needed from me to benefit the team.  If you give me a jersey and a number on my back I will give you what it takes to make the team successful.

     I think what separates me from other possible recruits is I have been taught to be very humble. I don't believe in bragging and I have been taught to treat people like I want to be treated. I do not like sitting around and not being active.  I am part of the Beta club in school and volunteer when I can. I have been taught to go the extra step to hopefully to get me to the next level not only in sports but in life as also.  I work as hard in the classroom as I do on the field.
