Logan Sammons '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Logan Sammons and I am in the class of 2024 at North Lincoln High School. Even though I'm primarily a catcher and outfielder, I can play anywhere on the field. I have always been exposed to different positions in order to improve my skills and help my team in any way that I can. When playing, I use my speed and knowledge of the game to my advantage. 

There is not a time I remember that I was not enjoying the game. It's an amazing feeling when I'm  on a baseball field, no matter what the circumstances. Whether we're winning or losing, I will do everything that I can in order to help my team succeed. If it's close at the end of a game, and my team needs an out or a hit, I will never shy away from the opportunity and I will not let the pressure get to me.

As an athlete, I understand that academics are extremely important. I am a straight A student, currently enrolled in three honors classes and an AP class. I aspire to be a tutor in the near future for others who are struggling. I don't know exactly what degree I want to pursue in college, but I have been considering marketing and math education as possible career paths. I am also a member of the JV basketball team at my high school. Basketball allows me to get faster and stronger throughout the winter months.

I am fully dedicated to becoming the best student, teammate, and player that I can be.
