Matthew Kenney '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Matthew Kenney Jr and I'm a 2021 graduate, I attend Butler High School, and play for the South Charlotte Braves during the summer and fall seasons. I'm very active, competitive, persistent and I won't back down from a challenge. I'm 6'3", 220lbs and I work hard in the weight room. I'm a catcher but, I will play anywhere on the field if my team needs me to.  I plan to play baseball at the next level. I'm interested in any school where I can play and practice baseball in a competitive environment while receiving a good education. I'm a three-year letterman I started a few games as a freshman, and I started every single one as a sophomore and now junior. I'm a leader to my team on and off the field, and I make sure everyone is giving their best effort.
