Jack Lindley '24 Recruiting Profile

I made my middle school junior varsity team after getting hurt in tryouts.  That perseverance made me a good student athlete.  I have developed good work habits that helped me to succeed. That season taught me how people older than me play the game. I also learned how to be a great leader of the team being one of veterans in the 7th and 8th and teaching the younger players. In the classroom, I have made really good grades and I excel on the field. I am a very passionate player and when I'm in the moment, I'm usually having lots of fun.

I feel like middle school was a turning point in my baseball career and my schooling career. I learned to be efficient with my time like working out and doing my homework so I can play as much as possible. It's helped me create good work habits so I can be the best player possible!
