Personal Statement
MY name is Brad Gregory, class of 2022, from Sanford, NC. I attend Pro5 Baseball Academy in Holly Springs, NC and I am a student in the virtual academy at Southern Lee High School. Baseball has been my love since I was old enough to swing a bat and it has always been my dream to play baseball at a higher level. I am a good student, I take many advanced classes, and I am a member of the National Honor Society. I lead by example on the field and I am a team player on and off the field.
In the off season I work weekly with Brett Austin (Washington Nationals) and Preston Palmeiro ( LA Angels AAA). They have always pushed me to work harder than everyone else. I also catch bullpens for professional players at Pro 5 and B Young Physical Therapy.
I am a primary catcher (right hand throw and left hand bat) and will be willing to fight for that position to achieve my goal. I also play right field and will play anywhere needed to help my team. I am looking for a good program that will believe in my abilities and help me grow into -ok the best player and person I can be. I have been very lucky to be surrounded by talented and knowledgeable players who believe in me. Pro 5 has helped prepare me for the riggers of college baseball such as managing your time for academics while on the road.
