My parents are divorced. When I was little my mother was a single parent. She and I had so much fun together practicing baseball. I am a lefty but she knew very little about baseball and taught me to hit right. Today, I am a switch hitter and I feel it has a lot to do with her. I will always cherish those days and mornings we spent practicing, laughing, and trying new things. I feel this is why I love baseball so much today. She has supported me every step of the way and is always there no matter how good or how bad I do.
My goal is to be a college student athlete. I can't imagine stopping competitive ball in three short years. I truly enjoy being part of a team and learning.
