Owen Canter '23 Recruiting Profile

It has always been my dream to play college baseball. I have always loved the sport and it has always been my favorite.  I have played football and basketball as well and really just love to compete.

Being part of team is just something that I find very rewarding and I pride myself on being a great teammate.

I try to be the best version of myself every single day whether it be on the field or in the classroom.

My father has instilled a work ethic in me from the day I was born and I really embrace the process of making myself better.  I understand that the only limits that I have are the ones that I put on myself.

I lost my Freshman season to COVID but made the Varsity team nonetheless.  As a Sophomore I was our Varsity team's number one starting pitcher and played 3B, SS and 2B when I was not pitching. I started every Varsity game as a Sophomore. I also earned All Conference 1st Team and All District honors.  I led our Varsity team in pitching statistics and also led our team in RBI's. I continue to work very hard at getting  stronger and will throughout my high school career.   

My goals for my high school career are lofty but I will do whatever it takes to reach them.

I look forward to this process starting and playing for a program that is the best fit for my abilities and their team.
