I am a college freshman currently enrolled at the University of Cincinnati, as a Business Analytics major, and am interested transferring for an an opportunity to play baseball at the collegiate level. I am a right-handed first baseman specializing in scooping up bad throws for outs and showing steadfast discipline at the plate with quick hands and driving power. Unfortunately, my teammates and I lost our 2019/2020 season due to COVID-19. I was able to play that summer where I was a starter at 1B and hit in the 5-hole with .318 BA, .423 OBP, .999 OPS, and .576 SLG averages.
Offensively my assets are the ability to hit for power, aggressiveness on the base paths, and driving runs in. Coaches evaluating my hitting have noted a short compact swing, keen hand-eye coordination with quick hands, and a strong bottom half that generates power. I’m a team player who focuses both on the field and in the classroom. I did not play my freshman year in college due to a knee injury in the middle of my senior year. I am completely cleared now to compete and am focused on my grind in the cage and in the gym so that I can get back on the field.
