Steven Chapman '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Steven Chapman. I will be starting my senior year at Carroll High School for the 2020/21 school year. 

My goal after high schools is to pursue a bachelor’s degree in sports management while also playing high level college baseball.

One aspect that sets me apart from others is I don’t focus on just one sport. Aside from baseball, I play wide receiver,kicker and quarterback on the football team and also play small forward on the basketball team. Academically, I have held a 3.7 GPA for the past 3 years all while playing sports year around.

I work hard at everything I do both academically and athletically. I love to compete which drives me to be the best I can be for myself, my team and my school.

I feel I would be a good fit for any baseball team because I’m a utility player. I have experience as a pitcher, catcher and all positions except first base. Offensively, I’m a patient batter. I strive to be the best I can be at the plate for the betterment of my team. I’m willing to sacrifice my at bat to place my team in a winning position.
