Dustin Myers '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Dustin Lee Myers. I am a 6'2", 205 lbs junior corner infielder. I would like to attend a four year college and play baseball for all four years at whichever college I attend. I always want to be the best player that steps foot onto the baseball field. I have always been told that I am a great, natural leader with an outstanding work ethic. I am always pushing my teammates to be better both on the field and in the weight room. I will do everything it takes to make sure that my team will go home with a win. When it comes to academics I do not sleep until all work is done even if that means long nights at my desk because in order to be successful you have to be willing to give up sleep. When there is something that I do not understand both in the classroom and on the field I will not shy away from asking questions so I can develop as a student and as an athlete. Before every pitch is thrown I know exactly what I am going to do depending on the situation and where the ball is hit. I am the first one to show up at the field and the last one to leave.
