I became interested in baseball at a young age. My greatest inspiration was my grandfather. I don't remember him because he passed away at a young age. He was a baseball player for the St. Louis Cardinals organization. I have always heard great stories about him and ever since I was little I have always wanted to be just like him. I have learned throughout my baseball career is that you never know what is around the corner. You have to live in the moment. Tomorrow is a whole new day and when things don't go your way, take a deep breath and start again.
