Ryan Ramirez '23 Recruiting Profile

As a Latino, I grew up watching and practicing baseball from a very young age.     I have played multiple sports throughout the years (basketball, soccer, football) but two years ago I decided that I wanted to dedicate100% to improving my baseball game. 

What have I learned from baseball?  I have learned how to be part of a team and how important it is to be a Team Player; I have learned that perseverance and hard work are the keys to success; I have learned that you can’t take anything for granted.  I have put these learnings in practice on and off the field, letting me achieve success both in my sports and academic goals.  Right now, I’m completing my Freshman year with honors and was able to make my HS baseball Team.  My next goals are to finish high school with above a 3.5 GPA, play with my high school's baseball team all four years, continue my baseball career in college,  and at the same time pursue an Engineering degree.
