Thomas Garvin '21 Recruiting Profile

Since I began playing lacrosse in 2nd grade, I immediately fell in love with the sport.  Since then I've always aspired to further my academic career in a challenging environment while competing at the collegiate level.  Through hard work and perseverance in the classroom and on the field I believe that I am getting closer to this goal.  One of my biggest assets and a big reason why I believe that I would be a successful playing at the collegiate level is my effort and determination - these are the things that I can control no matter in times of success or in adversity.  Whether that is completing a project at school or developing my skills on the field I am willing to put in the extra work and do anything in my power to accomplish my goals.   As an example, I recently earned an opportunity to compete in the Face-Off Academy National Showcase and finished in 5th place for the 2021 class.
