  • Earned a spot on USSSA Team Ohio as an alternate player. Team Ohio consisted of 15 players + select alternates and were chosen through a series of tryouts throughout Ohio. Over 400 players attended the tryout. During the Dayton event I went 3-6 (.500) with 3 singles and 2 RBIs. Also had 4 walks and my OBP was .700.

  • Hitting: 8-11 with 1 triple, 2 doubles, and 5 singles. Had 5 RBI's. Team won tournament championship. ***While catching the opposing team attempted 3 steals (2 to 2b and 1 to 3b) and all 3 were throwing out.*** Received a special invitation to attend Gameday's Disney Tournament at the Wide World of Sports in Orlando, FL over the Labor Day weekend. Unfortunately, the quick timing of a trip like that and the cost prevented me from being able to attend.

  • Worked with Marshall Rich in 1-on-1 sessions. Marshall was a catcher for Miami University (OH) - Hamilton. Marshall is an amazing receiver, blocker, and posts a 1.79 pop time. Marshall WILL make a major league roster in the near future.
  • Throwing & Pitching
  • 2 years
  • Worked over the course of 2 off-seasons with Eric Minshall. Eric was the pitching coach for Miami University (OH) - Hamilton until 2019. Beginning in the 2019 baseball season Eric was hired by the PIttsburgh Pirates organization as the pitching coach in their Rookie Advanced Affiliate in Bristol, VA. Part of his philosophy related to throwing is to use mechanics that are proper and will NOT cause injury to any pitcher, catcher, or fielder. He uses the Driveline Program in his training.
  • Hitting With a Former MLB Player
  • 5 years
  • Worked often with former MLB player Dave Collins. Dave was the first batter and scored the first ever run in the franchise history of the Seattle Mariners. Working with Dave has been invaluable in making me the hitter that I am today.
