Hello- My name is Jacob Shaver. I am currently a 6’’4 215 pound junior at Wellington High School. I play third base and first base primarily but I can pitch and play anywhere in the field. I am a right-handed batter. I have always hit in the middle of the order my whole life. I have always loved the game of baseball since I first started playing it. I have always been a hard worker to get to the next level of baseball. In high school I have lettered both my Freshman and Sophomore seasons. I have played for many competitive travel teams through the years. I used to play for Force Ohio where in the 2 seasons I played there we won the state championship both years. Now I play for the Stallions Baseball Club coached by Steve Hadjin. He is a big role model for me because he has already played college baseball at the D1 level. Playing college baseball has always been a dream for me since I first started playing the game many years ago. On the academic side of things I have been an honor student my whole life. I have always focused on school first. I have been in Honor and AP classes throughout high school and plan on taking CCP classes next year. Leadership is a big thing for me. I have always been a leader on every team I have played on including basketball. I truly believe making a brotherhood between your teammates is very important to having a successful team, teams should feel like family.
