I love the game of baseball. I have been playing since I was 4 years old. Baseball has been a major get away and stress reliever for me and it fills me with joy when i'm on the field with my brothers/teammates. Baseball has always been a major part of my life and I hope to play it at the college level maybe even beyond college. When I was 10-11 years old I had grown my hair out to donate to wigs for kids and when the season was near my coach asked if I could cut it soon because it was going to be a hot summer and he didn't want me to pass out behind the plate. So I made a deal with him. I'd cut my hair as long as we could host a hit-a-thon to raise money to donate to kids cancer research/Akron children's hospital. We raised around 1,200 dollars. Since then I grow my hair almost every year to donate as a way of honoring my grandma who has lung cancer and my aunt who passed many years before I was born due to childhood leukemia.
I have always tried my hardest on and off the field to be as successful as I can. I work two jobs, get good grades in school, help with taking care of family and then playing baseball. Its all about heart and having a good mindset.
