Jackson Buda '15 Recruiting Profile

I have always loved baseball.  There is nothing like being on the mound and competing.  The bigger the moment, the more I love it.
   I started Varsity as a Freshman and by the end of the season I was the #1 pitcher on the team.  I made Second Team All-Conference that Freshman year.  Last year as the team's #1, I was awarded with First Team All-Conference as a Sophomore.
   This year I was elected Captain by my teammates.  I was chosen as WAKR Student-Athlete of the Week in April. I finished my Junior season with a 5-2 record and 1.278 ERA. I was awarded with First Team All-Conference and Second Team NE Ohio-Inland District. 
   I have pitched in most of my travel teams tournament finals, including last year's 16U State Championship.  I also pitched in the 2008 State Championship which we won....great memories.
   I would love the opportunity and challenge to pitch at the college level.  I know there is still a lot for me to learn.  I know i need to get physically stronger.  I am eager to do whatever it takes and continue to work on it daily.
