Wesley Finner '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Wesley Finner and I’m a right/center fielder for the Ottawa Nepean Canadians Baseball Club. I want to play baseball at the next level because of the doors it could open in the future. Such as baseball and schooling opportunities. If I‘m in the game or sitting my attitude doesn’t change. I’m always picking guys up, looking for little advantages, and most importantly locked into the game in a way that keeps me engaged for 9 innings. I’m at the age that I now know everyone is as physically gifted as me and can do everything I do. I‘m constantly trying to improve what’s in between my ears to gain that slight advantage for my team and ultimately use that to help the team win the game. I’m never a distraction for my teammates, coaches, and staff members. I am responsible on the field and most importantly off the field. Either that be in the class room, out for dinner, etc. I carry myself the same way everywhere because how I do one thing is how I do everything.
