Kevin Dion '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kevin Dion, I am 16 yrs old middle infielder.  I am 5' 11" and currently 150 lbs.  I play for the Ontario Blue Jays 17U Elite travel team.  During the summer I also play for the Aurora Jays AAA travel team.  I also play for my high school team at Huron Heights S.S. in Newmarket Ontario.  My High School only has a varsity team which I have played on since my freshman year where I was 1 of only 2 freshman to make the team.  I play middle infield for all 3 of my teams and I am considered a spark plug for our offence.  I am a switch hitter that bats for a high average and high O.B.P. from both sides of the plate.  I have very good bat control and plate coverage.  I also have the ability to pitch at a high level but this is not my primary position.  My dream is to play ball at the College/University level with the hopes of making it to the MLB.  I am open to any opportunity to play baseball in College/University where I would like to study Sports and Fitness Management.  Ideally I would like to play somewhere where I can play baseball all year round so that I can continue to grow and improve my skills and be the best student athlete I can.
