My name is Tanner Wiens and I am a right handed pitcher currently playing for the Fieldhouse Pirates 16U team based out of Burlington, Ontario, Canada. I am from Niagara Falls, Ontario and am in grade 10. I understand that baseball is a team sport and it is important to believe in my team, support my teammates and compete to my highest ability each and every time I am on the field. I aspire to play baseball at a high level beyond high school and am always looking for ways to improve my performance while on the mound. Achieving a high level of academics in high school is important to me so that I can be successful in my future post secondary studies. I have worked hard for many years developing my pitching mechanics, stamina and skills needed to be a successful pitcher. Facing many high pressure situations over the years has helped me to develop the mental toughness needed to develop into a stronger pitcher. I always strive to do my best, am adaptable, have good listening skills and I am a great teammate.
