Chris Tani '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Chris Tani.  I have always been a 3 sport athlete playing hockey, basketball and baseball at elite levels. I feel this has been vital in my development as an all-around athlete and person. I was the starting point guard and 3 time player of the year on my high school basketball team. That being said, my passion is baseball and that’s what I have chosen to play at the college level. Baseball has a long history which I respect immensely and I feel I play the game the right way, always giving 100% effort.  I was a late grower and I am now 6’3 which has helped me lead both my high school and travel teams (the best league in Ontario) to successful years.  I am a three-time MVP of my high school baseball team and won athlete of the year at my high school in my senior year.  As stated in my email, I had a good freshman year at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, California but due to Covid I decided to play closer to my home in Ontario, Canada.  I am ready to play D1 baseball and am looking forward to hearing from interested schools.
