At the age of 12, my hockey coach of 2 years described me using this quote… “It’s like wrestling a gorilla. Noah doesn’t stop when he’s tired. He stops when the gorilla is tired!”. He was also always impressed with how fast I was despite being a big kid. It is true that I strive to leave everything I’ve got out on the field, diamond, or ice each and every game, but to me, there’s nothing more rewarding than doing this as part of a team! Knowing that we are all there to support each other while we compete and that I have the opportunity to do my best for my coaches and teammates, but also to encourage them to do their best too, is what makes me the type of athlete that I am. I have received many compliments from coaches, teammates, and fans about my high degree of sportsmanship and my ability to support and encourage teammates when they need it most. It is always a personal goal for me to lead by example both on and off the field.
I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me both athletically and academically. At the end of my school career, I want to be able to go out into the workforce to make a positive contribution as well as to be able to look back at the great games I’ve played, and the quality relationships with coaches, teammates, and classmates that I’ve built along the way.
As a dual sport athlete, captain and MVP in my first two years of highschool football, I know that I have what it takes to be a great part of your team and school!
