Vincenzo Bruno '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Vincenzo Bruno, or, better, "Vinny", 17 years old, Italian National Baseball Team Pitcher player of the 18U (European Chanpionship - July 2021), of the 15U (European Championship - July 2019) and of the 12U (Mondial Hit International Tournament - August 2016). I remain hopeful I am able to compete in the 2022 WSBC 18U World Cup, since this year event (Florida - September 2021) has been cancelled due to the pandemic. 

Invited to join the Between the Line All-Ontario Team showcase in St. Louis (Missouri) 11-18Oct2021 (class of 2022).

I moved to Toronto last August 2021 where I am currently attending the 12 grade at the North Toronto Collegiate Institute.

Dual citizenship: Italian and Canadian.

Since September 2021 I am training High Performance Program at Baseline Sports in Toronto with MLB-drafted, National team-selected and NCAA-recruited athletes, under Raf Choudhury, former pro and Great Britain Men’s National Team player, current Bangladesh Men’s National Team head coach and Canada Women’s National Team trainer.

Currently playing with the BP Toronto Cubs Team, while in Italy have played with the Staranzano Ducks Team for 12 years. 

I'd love to play for a college team and I have been dreaming it for a long time.

I have a lot of International experience and I competed in many International events.

My main traits are the perceptiveness,  when I am on the mount I know what I'm doing, I play for the team and being sharp is what differs me.
My high motivation and my strong determination play a fundamental role in order to consider me as a prospect.

I still am been followed by Nestor Perez Suarez, LA Dodgers scout,  since September 2018 when he invited me to join his team, the Marlins of Tenerife (Spain), for the U14 Spanish Championship.
