Personal Statement
Baseball is my passion. Since childhood I have dreamed of playing on a college baseball field, and beyond, with the hopes of having a positive impact on a team. I have spent much of my life thus far on a field; middle/high school teams, little league, NW Nations and American Legion. All of these teams have helped me become the player I am today. My professional goal is to be a medical provider and take my team skills from the field to a medical practice.
As a player, coaches have always told me that I am coachable, have a good attitude, am patient and show respect for those I am working with. I listen to what coaches, teachers and community members tell me and I apply those lessons. Whether it be on the baseball field or in the classroom. I have been told by a coach that I am often the glue that keeps a team together. Teamwork is important to me and I value the roles that each of us play on the field; whether it be behind the scenes or on the field.
I want to be a part of a program that is competitive, builds character and helps me become a better person.
