My name is Conner Kaveney, I am 5’10” and weight 151 pounds. I am currently attending Seneca High School in Erie, Pennsylvania and will graduate in June of 2023. I currently hold a 89 GPA.
Since Freshman year I am the starting right-handed pitcher for my HS Varsity team, as well as team captain for the past 2 years. I began pitching in Minors when my coach threw me into the first game of the season to try me out and I have pitched ever since. Because I like the challenge whenever I step onto the mound, I have worked on my technique and have pushed myself in becoming a stronger, faster, more accurate pitcher for my team.
I am also a very versatile/coachable athlete. I can play all positions (except for catcher) which makes me an asset for my team/coach. I am a right-handed batter and have a strong, disciplined work ethic.
During the summer I work full-time as a landscaper, but I also go to the gym or do home workouts 5 days a week to keep in shape. During the winter months, I work on my throwing and hitting in our basement with my Dad a few days a week, and on most Saturdays I attend an open gym at my school for baseball workouts.
I am still exploring my college options as well as a major, I am leaning toward a Civil and/or Structural Engineering Degree. I am very confident that I want to play baseball at a college level and can be an asset to your team.
I have also been a starting defensive player on my HS Varsity Soccer team since my Freshmen year. After my 2021 season, I was named 2nd Team, Region 3 All-Star (Defense) After my 2022 season, I was named 1st Team Region 4 (we changed regions) All-Star (Defense), in which we made school history.
