Marshall Mott Ski...Thank you for visiting my profile! My name is Marshall Mott and I am a 17 year rising Senior at Gettysburg Area High School in Gettysburg, PA. I am a 2021 graduate with the goal of playing Division 1 college baseball and earning a degree in Business. I have a strong work ethic that is not only reflected in my academics, but my performance on the baseball field. I am a quick learner with a positive mind set and strive to be the best possible teammate and player I can be in every situation. I am an honor roll student with a 3.9 GPA and a strong college education is very important to me. Representing your school in the best way possible would be an honor and I will always do my best on the field and in the classroom.
2019 Highlights:
-National Honor Society with a 3.9 GPA.
-Finished up the high school season going 5-2 with a 2.5 ERA in 10 starts and added 63 strikeouts in 40.0 innings pitched. I faced some of the toughest competition in the state, including Dallastown twice, Red Lion, Cedar Cliff, and Manheim Central, who all include elite players apart of some very well developed programs. I hit .325 at the dish going 26 for 80.
-1st team Division 2 Pitcher both my freshman and sophomore season.
-Ranked 11th in the state of Pennsylvania in the class of 2021 for strikeouts according to MaxPreps.
-Lead my division in strikeouts.
-I had a major role in my high school teams success. Gettysburg Area High School finished off 13-1 in their division and 21-5 overall including a 17 game win streak. Gettysburg won the division for three years straight along with being runners-up in both the county and district tournament. Gettysburg High School earned the ranking of 10th in the state according to MaxPreps. The 2019 Warriors were the first team in Gettysburg program history to play in the District 3 title and qualify for the PIAA state tournament.
-Recently earned MVP along with tournament champion at the PG Super 25 15u Virginia Super Qualifier tournament in Norfolk. Mott tossed a shutout through 6.1 innings allowing only 3 hits including a perfect game through 5. Mott also went 2-3 at the plate as well. The lefty has a fastball, curveball, and slider in his arsenal and is currently developing a change-up.
-Pitched the final game to win tournament champions of the 10th Annual New Era Cap Classic (Pittsburgh).
