Aidan Nye '23 Recruiting Profile

One of my biggest goals is to play college baseball and further my education. I pride myself on being the hardest worker on the field, in the gym, and in the classroom. Doing well in the classroom has always been a major goal of mine. If I do poorly on an assignment, I study a lot more so I do better the next time. That also applies to the field as well. If I have a bad at bat or make an error, I go over what I did wrong in my head so I can practice it later. One of my goals for the upcoming season is to have a successful varsity season and win the district championship. As a catcher, I pride myself on being a leader. I always make sure I'm hustling on and off the field no matter what. I try to pick up my teammates when they've had a bad game because I'm more worried about the team's success than my own.  My athletic numbers might not jump out, but I can contribute a lot to a team's success.
